Vera entered peacefully into eternal life on June 15th, after having had the consolation of receiving the Last Sacraments ten days earlier, at the Yaletown House , Vancouver. She had been recovering there since the beginning of June 2019, after a lengthy stay in hospital where she fought a hard battle between life and death. Her family is immensely grateful to the dedicated staff of this nursing home. Adelle deserves special mention for the tender loving care she offered her. Stefania Stawecki passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Sunday, June 21, 2020. She and her family were deported to Siberia in 1940, and after the war she moved to London where she met and married her late husband of 52 years, Józef Stawecki. Marie left home at the age of fifteen, and spent most of World War II in Germany, performing menial labour. After a brief time studying to be a nurse in England, Marie emigrated to Canada in 1948, where she worked as a practical nurse in northern Alberta and then northern Ontario. There, she met her future husband Lawrence Louis “Lorne” Donnelly in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. Marie & Lorne were married at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in 1955.

He was brave, very strong minded and an ambitious man with a kind and generous side to him, especially demonstrated with love and affection for his grandson Vincent. At Walter’s request there will be a private celebration of his life. Born in Crikvenica, Croatia on September 17, 1925, Walter passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 29, 2021, in Vancouver, BC, Canada at the age of 95. Ramiro is survived by his wife of 63 years, Salomé, his children Gil and Julie and brother Luis. Grandchildren, Kristina , Danny , Kelli , Brendan , Ryan , and Meaghan . Great Grandchildren, Zoe, Sergio Jr., Brayden, Abby, Erica, Wyatt, and Sadie. He was predeceased by his parents, Joaquin and Eliza, Brothers and Sisters, Edwina, Alise, Margarida, John, Daniel, and Grandson Joe Ramiro. On Thursday July 29th, 2021, Sheila Dolores Wynne, devoted wife of John and loving mother of Denise and Andrea passed away at the age of 77. She was the oldest of seven children born to Fred and Edna Elhatton. After marriage to Ray Power in 1949, she worked as a legal secretary until settling down to start a family. In 1963, the family moved to Edmonton and she remained there until moving to New Westminster as a widow in 1989.

He was born on April 8, 1942 to Joseph and Emma Grosjean in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Although she came from simple beginnings, Emelinda worked her way through being a dressmaker & mother and when her children finished college, she earned her diploma in Education. Hard work and determination characterized this strong and loving mother, grandmother and wife. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice. She earned many ribbons for her quilts at the Stisted Fair. Joyce loved to bake, and her pecan pies were second to none and in season she loved to make jams, jellies, and salsa. A memorial service will be held at All Saints Church, Huntsville on Monday June 25th at 11 a.m. Born in Montreal in 1941, Bev attended London Teacher’s college and also graduated with her B/A from Wilfrid Laurier in Waterloo. She taught school in Toronto and was a Librarian/Teacher in Bramalea and Bolton and taught ESL as well. Bev was a faithful pastor’s wife and impacted hundreds of lives by her love, faith, prayers and hospitality. Following retirement, Bev served on the Huntsville Hospital Auxiliary, the Muskoka Seniors and the Algonquin Theater. She was also a member of the Huntsville Racqueteers, enjoyed golf and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Huntsville. In Florida, Bev enjoyed biking, running, tennis as well as leading ladies bible studies and ministering to those in need.

Following his move to Muskoka, Re-Energy was started and as a Power Management Consultant, he worked with companies throughout northern Ontario. Often flying his plane to destinations such as Thunder Bay.
