7 games down and 5 of them in the Benz.

While only an average mathematician, I can definitely calculate that having 3 home games remaining out of 9 means we'll be on the road quite a bit down the stretch.

But not to worry, the Cast has you covered.

Make sure to get yourself to one of our viewing parties or if you're traveling, to one of the get-togethers in the away city.

These events are posted the week prior and are excellent ways to get further plugged in to the Cast!

Several Cast members were asked to show out at 11 Alive on Sunday and they did not disappoint.

Still looking for a reason to join this group?

The ATL Cast notched it's 1,000th member last weekend just prior to the Giants game.

A tremendous achievement for all involved and we couldn't be more proud of our organization!

The best part? The next 1,000 will come primarily from friends and family of you... our members!

Here's to resting up this week and screaming HTTF a week from Sunday!

What exactly is a fan?  A fan is an enthusiastic devotee of a sports team, some cases multiple teams.

What exactly is a die hard fan?  Some one that shows extreme absolute or complete loyalty even if facing defeat or hopelessness.

I was thinking about our loss yesterday and how social media is flooded with fans griping about our Falcons, DQ, Demetroff and Sarkisian.  I've always held to the premise that I can talk about my team/family but no one else had better or it'd be on!!!!

I'm disappointed with the loss yesterday, however, win or lose those dirty birds are my ride or die!!!!

So, what kind of fan are you?

CAST members! Each home game we will ask 18 ATL CAST members to register to carry the Falcons Flag onto the field at the start of the game.  Those who sign up must be prepared to be at the game at least five hours prior to game start to practice.  Participants will be given standing room only access and once the season begins a designated area to stand will be provided next to the stage in the Overlook (by Molly B's) so you can continue your experience by helping  to  lead the cheers and noise.  You cannot be younger than 15 years old.  You must wear Falcons gear and follow any and all directions given by the Falcons.  You'll be given a meal voucher as well.  This is a one time only experience to ensure as many people as possible get to participate. Be on the look out for the event prior to each game.

It's why we do what we do... and it wouldn't be possibly without you!

The ATL Cast was founded almost 1 year ago ( Sign up for the anniversary party here) with community in mind.

We want our club to partner with the Falcons in uniting this city in passion for both the birds' play on the field, as well as their mission off it.

To date the Cast has donated $3700 dollars to TAPS and another $600 to the Atlanta Food Bank. Both of these numbers will continue to grow in addition to our other efforts such as supporting MADD with their upcoming walk.

While we love our Falcons and desire to display an unrivaled passion for our team, we mirror the Falcons organization in our commitment to give back to the city we love and to the families whose sacrifice has made our club possible.

    How can you get involved?

    1. Volunteer for any upcoming event.

    2. Hit the donations page to help support our causes.

    3. Recruit new members - remember a percentage of each membership is donated to charity!

Welcome back to football my friends.

We are officially one week away from seeing the birds take the field for live action and the familiar feeling of living Sunday to Sunday will slowly start to sink in.

We're at about 7 months from seeing Atlanta fall yards short in Philly. A rested Nick Foles made just enough plays to best the Falcons who came rolling into town after a hard-fought win in L.A.

The theme of 2018 could almost be pegged as Quinn looking on in disbelief as another ball failed to bounce Atlanta's way ( and usually right into the arms of a "right-place, right-time" defender. )

It looked like Atlanta seemed destined for another special season as they raced out of the gate 3-0. But as we look back at the year, it looks like Atlanta had used every drop of fortune in their bucket by Week 3.

The goal-line stand against Chicago and Golden Tate falling just short in Detroit helped Atlanta to 3-0, but the birds luck ran out with a fluky TD call and equally questionable interception call against Buffalo.

We were off to the races.

Tipped pass after fluke play all season long. I can't decide if the pinnacle was Julio falling on the most critical play of the season, or a pigskin defying the laws of physics and come to rest on the back side of Saints defender for an interception.

Despite all the troubles, Atlanta churned their way to a playoff win and nearly earned a repeat trip to championship Sunday.

Here's to just a sprinkle of better fortune, which may be all the birds need to get back to the big stage.

    Atlanta(0-0) @ New York Jets(0-0)

    August 10th  - 7:30 PM

    Last Week: N/A

Last Meeting : Atlanta defeated the Jets 25-20 in Week 9 last season.

Series All Time - Atlanta has won 7 of 12 overall meetings.

It's likely we'll see these teams manage the outing  in very different manners.

Quinn has typically adopted the "Series, Quarter, Half, Sit" model with Ryan and his co-stars and I wouldn't be surprised if we see even less of them this season. The better use for these games for Atlanta is to evaluate the final 10 or so spots on the roster as they don't have a lot of questions needing answers.

That's not to say there isn't anything fun to look for. We should get our first look at the entire draft class, including first-round pick Calvin Ridley.

Flip the script for Todd Bowles and the Jets' shiny new QB Sam Darnold. The Jets will likely use this game to get Darnold a smattering of live, NFL speed reps and he will likely see a fair amount of snaps.

I would not expect to see an extended amount of New York's defense as they look relatively strong this season. While the offense will likely see extended action, defense #1 will likely see limited time.

Either way, it will be good to finally see Atlanta back in uniform.
